Fun fact. Today, 30 April, the Heisei era ends. The Heisei era started on 8 January 1989, after Emperor Hirohito died, and was succeeded by his son Akihito. And it’s scheduled to end today with the planned abdication of Emperor Akihito from the Chrysanthemum Throne. So the Reiwa era will begin on May 1, with the transition of Prince Naruhito as emperor.

About Aya Mizaki retirement video: HNDS-062
More than a few guys asked about Aya Miyazaki retirement video and it was finally announced as HNDS-062 from Honnaka studio. Scheduled for 19 May, or so.
It will be 4 hours, with 4 guest directors invited. And ss one of the backbones of the JAV industry, she wants to retire with a bang. Some of the niceties she will do in her retirement video include Gokkun and fisting and a few other gross (or nice?) things.
Also:
- Soi Aoi videos are gone for good, as some guys noted. Curiously enough, she will also be streaming live the birth of her twins.
- Yanagi Miyu from S1 will retire.
- Don’t remember if this was said but seems Yuzuki Himawari is retiring too.
- Namiki Haruka (波木はるか) will be gone too.
- Kamisaki Shiori talked about her 2019 retirement plans, concretely by the end of the year.
It never ceases to amaze me the attitude of porn actresses once they have left the world. When they decide to live a normal life, get married or have children, they immediately spend all their energies in removing all their work from the web. For other things, they do not, but that is what they are for. Aoi Sora always shut me up, I never followed her seriously I really only have one movie of her and two movies IV.And I can take it away right now. I am annoyed by this attitude of porn actresses. After being a quarter of your life earn your life in porn … now you regret it? When are you going to have some kids? Each one can do what they want but that attitude bothers me. Yup. I’ll second most of this. The whole ‘ban’ thing is annoying, and the way it’s done in practice is a bit odd – for example that one actress can get a video deleted with 20 other actresses – but those videos are still available for us on tubes. And I like the actresses who are doing this work enough that it seems a pretty cool option for them to have to get on with the rest of their lives. If JAV idols make you happy, don’t deny them happiness.
I guess this comment makes sense if you think these women exist for your pleasure. If you have any qualms about their ability to revoke past work, you should complain to the studios. For them, it’s extra work and lost sales for them to do so, yet they do it to accommodate the actresses and acknowledge the fact that they’re human beings who have to live in a sex-work hostile world.

Regarding Sola Aoi stopping the sale of her videos: “On April 18, the 35-year-old Aoi wrote that as of about one month ago official downloads of her past AV titles was halted after “considerations for the delivery” were made. “With children on the way, I felt like if I could halt [sales] of official releases then I should. By halting sales, I do not want to erase the past,” Aoi added in the blog post. “But I also do not want to do nothing. I can not erase the past even if wanted to erase it. I stopped selling the official titles. But illegal versions are scattered about the internet if one looks.” she wrote.
Regarding her pregnancy with twins: “On April 30, online video service AbemaTV will stream the delivery, which will be done via Caesarean section, as a part of the documentary “Welcome to the World, Sola’s Baby,” will be available in Japan and across Asia.”

I suspect they retreat in disgust. what they have to do is not even the most unhappy sex workers. but why do they enter the av … I guess a mixture of greed, ignorance, fear of the unknown, maybe sex and lack of external stimuli. all very personal, legal and endurable, until they retire having won a lot or little money, because of age, the boredom of being used as dirty rags and above all, the impersonal life inside a machinery that literally crushes your bones. Someone’s dreams can be nightmares for others …

I have done some research. Her name is akina/(ha) yoshizaki it seems she was debuting in 2017 with Snis-962 as her debut video code, but somehow her AV actress career got fisnished right on the start b’cos her family. So her snis 962 dvd had cancelled to be released and probably S1 wants to try release that dvd again in new ssni 377 code for some extra bucks (usually debut movies sell very well). Although they took it down again on their website, the dvd is still on dmm fanza web. Sorry for my bad english.

I’ve been following this story. It turns out brick & mortar stores received a couple days ago a notice to suspend DVD/BD sales. It’s still listed in Fanza’s site, but it now seems likely it will be taken down when most employees resume work after golden week.
Since I found your site and have been going through older blog posts, I have learned so much and have a question.
When an actress decides to have her work removed from future sales (I think you wrote 5 years after retirement), do ALL videos get removed or just the ones where she is the main actress?
For example, if Tsubomi decides to retire (probably at age 87 and still looking hot), and later decides to remove her videos from future sale, what happens to all of the videos where she was only one of two, three or more actresses? Are those no longer sold as well? If so, that seems unfair to the other actresses.
I’m just curious if the desires of one actress can stop the sale of videos where the actress was one of a large group of girls in the video thereby hurting the incomes of the other actresses.

There was already a case in a video involving 15+ actresses, unfair but yes still applies.

I thought folks might find it noteworthy that j*vfor.me seems to have closed up shop. The site was really valuable for finding older videos that were either completely unavailable elsewhere, or were only available elsewhere with huge yellow vomit watermarks. Their hosted videos were either clean or only watermarked with a tiny version of their name that could be easily ignored. I’ve found gems there dating all the way back to 2009. Oddly, the site is still up, but there are no hosted videos, and there is a weird notification that makes no sense to me: “According to requirements of DMM, We delete all videos.”
Absolutely gutted that we lost J*vfor. Not only they had a good catalouge, their video player was so much more stable than most JAV sites.
Yup. Their player really was best of breed. But their catalog of old JAV’s is the real loss. I have so many videos from them where they were either the only source, or the only source for an unwatermarked version. Whenever I’d “discover” an actress from 2015 or whenever, they were usually the only place to fill out a collection of her videos.
true, j*vfor.me is a big loss for us JAV lovers, it was my go to site but luckily we still have this site. this site is really valuable not only because of streaming videos but i also like the news and updates on the industry
Oh, no doubt. I think we all know this fine website is the single best place for English language coverage of JAV. And our excellent admin has posted a sizable number of high-quality, unwatermarked videos that cannot be found elsewhere in good versions.
