Ok, realize that you dont download the vids and use an app like VLC to watch. If the .srt file has the same name as the vid, VLC automatically shows the subs while the vid is playing.
ok, so if you dont downwload the vid and VLC, while a vid is playing through a web embed, go for the “gear” icon in the bottom right corner while its playing. some sites will pop up a menu that allows you to upload the .srt file, which it will play along with the vid.
Since I download, I havent figured out which sites allow .srt upload, but i think fembed does.
correction on the previous post. It appears doodstream links allow caption upload. They dont provide a “gear” icon, but the “speech bubble” icon in the same place pops up the menu where you can upload.
