Was the use of “Tenjin” intentional and “better” in this contestin this AV’s title translation?

Or should 天神ちゃん have led to Amagami-chan being used. . .

(Her name Amagami Ui is Romanized on the cover. And Tenjin is not.)

The “Tenjin Chan” the site’s translation leads with is from small print buried in the top right corner of the cover, and is not the first thing one reads reading the cover.
