Her face looks different (around the eyes) – please, Please, PLEASE tell me it’s just heavy makeup and not plastic surgery again. We already “lost” Shoko; please tell me we don’t have to add Kana to the “casualty list” as well. That would be too much to take. There appears to be something truly sick and demented at the heart of modern-day JAV that all of these young females who are perfectly beautiful are feeling the need to (or are being pressured into) undergo(ing) permanent plastic surgery that alters their appearance to such an extent that they are barely recognizable to their old selves. It speaks either of mental illness on the part of these girls that they feel the need to take such drastic steps to stay “relevant” (either because of the competitiveness of the industry, or more likely the corrosive effect of social media on impressionable minds); or of players within the industry pressuring these girls to pursue a more “perfect” and thus marketable appearance which more closely resembles the photo-shopping they inevitably do for box art and promotional art.
