Before I ever saw any pornography, there were ads in the newspaper for it when I was a kid old enough to read the newspaper. In the movie section of the newspaper, there were adds for movies like Deep Throat and Devil in Miss Jones. It was probably that. . . So – 1972 or 1973, at the table, eating breakfast, reading the paper.
I remember my God Mother saw Deep Throat, and actually talked it up with my parents.
Odd question. Odder still here for this movie.
But, I think it was a good question. Could see people at a party talking that up for 20 minutes, maybe longer. . .

Nakata really looks young here. The older Nagae films like thia one had a darker story and ending. I forgot which one showed the husband really killing himself when he found out he got cucked. Yup. This one has the same vibes.

Wonder what influences the choice of calling the studio here Nagae Style versus the choice of calling it Saidobi – Side B.
I do believe its the same studio, just a different “label.” Could be wrong
Also wonder what lead the studio(s) to put either Nagae Style or Side B on any particular cover. .
This was an interesting post, regardless. Ippei Nakata back in 2013, still apparently youthful looking, enough to be cast as a student.
