I started to try to study what Sybil Matsuda / Matsuda Shibiru/ Momose Nonoka says in English in this movie. It was difficult. Her accent thru me later on, when she was reading or translating news. But her English was clear at first. It started like this:

1:24 – Hi. My name is Sybil Matsuda. Twenty-Five years old. My father is from England. My mother is Japanese. I spent my whole time, almost, in Japan, but during my high school days I was England and I learned English. But now I came back to Japan, and I started a new job as announcer, so I’m doing now, announcer. – 1:55

This part, where she’s asked to read or translate the news in English while totally surrounded, was what I thought should have been easy, but I couldn’t figure out what she says. Best effort today was

40:24 – And in other news, a series of devastating typhoons is on the way. In China, more than 500 people have been killed by hurricanes. Hurricane has hovered over China – Ah!  No! Please wait! Over China for a week since it made landfall in Island on December 1st. It has now been downgraded – No! Oh my God! Wait! Will you please stop?  It has now been downgraded to a tropical storm. China Disaster Prevention Authority say the bi_  hurricane of  heavy rain that freezes fruit and nat light maintain _and First Rescue Team continue to try to locate the missing, but that the death toll could increase. China government say they will use Japanese funds to buy food for hurricane survivors. No! – 42:16
