Shiina Sora backstory
Sora Shiina was, first of all, the real girlfriend of AV actress Erika Katagiri (Tsukishima Nanako), with whom she had a lesbian relationship since 2014 (or according to other sources late 2013). She eventually followed Katagiri’s steps entering AV in April 2015.
Her initial gimmick was a series of musical themed AV where she plays a street singer which sold extremely well. Following this success and almost since the beginning, she was constantly well-ranked in DMM charts, currently occupying a solid 9th place.
Sora has a cute face, a slim yet soft body, and a gorgeous ass. Also, she does a bit of everything, including joking and a particular humor sense, which is not bad at all.
About the BIBIANS
Bibians, a wordplay made by BIBIAN AV studio. Which tagged Shiina and her counterpart Tsukishima Nanako as BIBIANS, seeing their potential. Together, they made this lesbian NTR mini-series the most popular for this studio. Which sold copies like crazy.
Nowadays, Nanako is a well-known true lesbian girl. And since her JAV retirement, she has moved to Taiwan. Which I think sparkled her breakup with Shiina. Hence she and Sora.

えりりか indeed is Eri Rica. or Eririca but, えりか is Erika, which makes more sense to me.

I don’t know much about Masaki Nao except she used to be an actress. And she has also done some great titles like AVOP-332, MVSD-349, the LZDQ, and the whole BBAN series. So clearly she knows what she is doing.
I loved Bibian’s too, I had such a blast with AVOP-272 back in the day, sad that they had to split. Even my GF prefers lesbian AV too, and she’s not even lesbian. Lol.
Well, actually quite a lot of straight girls like lesbian AV, as women’s sexuality is somewhat different from men’s.
Nao Masaki is former AV actress Natsuki Ando (active between 2006 and 2011) who turned to directing around the 2010’s. I managed to get quite a few info about her from the JAVDownloadCenter subredit, originally she always wanted to be a director, but since that area was very much a boys club, it was eaiser for her to become an actress and than later transition to the other side of the camera.
She mostly works with Bibian, Honnoka, Moodyz and Celeb no Tomo (although I saw a few S1 titles as well) and specializes in 3 genres: Lesbian sex, S&M, and straight titles with more dominant girls. She is an excellent director, who has the ability to bring out fantastic sometimes downright career-best performances from her actresses (like Ai Uehara in PLA-044 and 045). And the BIBIANS series are proof that lesbian AV is her forte, and she was the one who “converted” Sunohara Miki into performing with girls.
She is also active on social media (https://twitter.com/nannannantomo) and has a very close, almost mother-daughter like relationship with Shiina. When you see her name at the director title you know you’re gonna get quality stuff.

I agree that her body and face aren’t that hot – for a while after I discovered JAV, I completely ignored her films because I wasn’t into her looks – but I also think her charisma, sense of humor, and acting make her one of the most compelling JAV stars despite her non-standout looks. And I’ll go even further: she’s *by far* the best JAV actor around. (I pretty much only watch loli/JK titles, so I might be missing actors who play older.) Sora can carry an entire two hour film with her acting in a way pretty much no one else can. The only other actor even vaguely in her league is Atomi Shuri, and Shuri has a stunning body and face to work with. When she’s working with a filmmaking team that’s really on their game, Sora is uniquely fantastic at making her characters seem somehow ‘real’, which makes the fapping fantasy a lot more effective. Yeah, I’m not surprised she’s much requested. She is compelling. Feel free to use my writing here in any way you like, if you think it would benefit your very fine blog and website. One thing about Sora is that since she’s not able to rely on her looks, most of her JAV titles are kinda awful! I mean, I can watch pretty much any Yazawa Mimi or Kimiiro Kanon film and be happy, since it’s all about their looks. But Sora needs a filmmaking effort that gives her space to use her acting skills to create a vivid character in order to make a hot JAV, and that’s uncommon. Out of her 250+ non-lesbian titles, I’d happily fap to fewer than 30. (With Atomi Shuri, it’s closer to 50%.) So if you want to steer your readers to the good ones, that’s a public service. I’m kinda curious, for no particularly good reason, whether or not she’s ever talked about being a hafu. One of her films advertised her as being 3/4 Russian and 1/4 Japanese, but JAV box covers and titles often have zero relationship to reality, so I’m not taking that as true.
