Hello All.   Having now done any number of these reviews, I now find myself reflecting deeper on the construction of these productions. I can only speculate that they must be on a very tight budget. Surely in the editing phase there must be moments where the director goes, “we need to reshoot this.” This is most evident at 00:47:28. We have to deal with the censorship but with the bright light, gleaming bathroom and the white glare shine of the back wall we effectively miss the moment. Did no one suggest a reshoot for that moment or during the editing process? Not to mention the accursed light at 01:24:55 where we effectively have it flashing into the camera. We then have a stunning scene from 01:36:04. I was speculating that the lighting director had been sacked but we finish 565 at 02:14:16 and the dreaded light in the camera is back. There wasn’t even a finish here. Just one last shot and then a continuation? I do really need to go to Japan and become a one stop lighting, camera, editing, marketing, script director…..
