As Christians, we can forgive the man who murdered Charlie, and those who pushed him to do it, because it’s what Christ did and it is what Charlie would do. This is why we are better than them. Because of our Faith. We are the ones who build, who create, who lift up humanity. As Christians, we can forgive, but as citizens, we must fight! Burn Democrat run cities to the ground. We will not forget what they did to Charlie, and what they did to this country.

I know you’re just trolling, so, please, don’t think I took your comment too seriously.

And I suspect you’re more sympathetic to the democrats, and the post is facetious. A truth joke, with the sarcastic facetious slant being the drive of the humor.

I actually googled, asking “What is the difference between sarcastic and facetious. Among the results I got were:

Facetious is being flippant about a serious issue, sarcasm is using irony to mock or disparage. You can be sarcastically facetious. . . .

Found this, googling “What is the difference between sarcastic and facetious. Being facetious means being comedic in a borderline-inappropriate way. It isn’t really marked by specific language or structure, just the fact that it’s in a context that doesn’t seem very good for humor. People don’t usually aim to be facetious (they’re likely trying to be funny), but they can be perceived as facetious by others. Being sarcastic means saying something ironically, usually with an insulting effect. You say something different than what you mean, and the fact that what you say is not true highlights how opposite the situation really is. Sarcasm can often be funny, because someone is saying something quite different than what would be expected, but its purpose is to comment on something. They often come up in similar situations because they both involve saying things that aren’t very literal, but they are pretty distinct. If you were in an elevator that just got stuck, a facetious remark might be “This is my floor!” It’s a joke, it’s obviously not true, but it’s not conveying anything. It’s just an attempt at humor. The other people in the elevator are most likely to just be annoyed, because… Read more »

Going beyond the facetious sarcastic parts of the remark to some of the “truths” behind the truth-joke, I’ve wondered As to your comment’s element: “. . . those who pushed him to do it” I’ve seen no news about any evidence being found that anyone “pushed” 22-year old Tyler Robinson, a Mormon raised by a MAGA parents in a Republican Utah city to use his gun-owing Mormon grandfather’s relic firearm to “do it.” But I wonder if the “furry” community – that I’d never heard of until that awful shooting, or the transsexual community will be targeted as people who “pushed him to do it” And I wondered about some of the JAV postings to this site. About whether they have any link to the “furry” community that apparently has a good number of LGBTQ and transitioning people in its numbers. This is the only site where I’ve ever seen Cross Dressing and Transsexual movies posted. And the only site where I’ve seen possible, arguable “furries” like in [ROYD-260] Shin Nui Peni Phenomenon: After failing in love, I decided to get inside a stuffed toy and expose my penis. Meisa Nishimoto So – wonder. Are the MAGA Kirk people soon… Read more »
