Satsuki Fumino’s beauty is just off the charts

Completely 100 % agree , but she’s still acting like a graduate from the Mio Kimishima Academy of Drama ( not as robotic, of course! ) She can be in the most dire situation with 3 drooling slobs closing in and practically burst out laughing.. Her manager should make her watch a few good Iroha Natsume vids.

Might be hard for anyone to be that robotic. Even playing a mannequin in one of those “I became a mannequin” movies. . .

But on her acting. Her face, or I’d say, particularly, her mouth, seems to limit her acting, but in a sort of good way.

I was watching her next to gorgeous Mukai Ai in

And I noticed that Satsuki Fumino just always seemed to be smiling more often, more broadly, more glamorously. As if she was just born with radiant, gorgeous teeth that flash constantly, revealed by lips that revert naturally, not to a closed mouth expression, but to a ravishing smile. She just seems to reset to a gorgeous smile because she’s made that way.

You can’t always act if your mouth keeps smiling gloriously. But I’m not sure that as physical immutable attributes go, that that’s a clearly bad thing. It can make her really watchable (if not as dramatically capable as Iroha Natsume – or even Narumiya Iroha for that matter).

Excellent point re her facial structure, Sana Matsunaga had a similar challenge. (Man, talk about the AV industry not knowing what to do w a potential star in Sana! ) Also got a laugh out of your Mio/mannequin reference! ( my fave Mio robo-acting experience is in a film that should have been a classic-HND-533 (3 Days After Graduation ) She’s a teacher @ a Grad party and 13:00 in a student throws a drink on her blouse and tears it open. She’s surrounded by 10 + rabid students hell bent on a furious GB and-literally-looks at them like you’d look at a waiter who’d brought you the wrong side order. Every 20 seconds or so she barks “Stop it” in the exact same monotone and volume. High comedy ) Back to Satsuki, as you’ve pointed out she’s ridiculously beautiful w an innocent charm and, yes, a killer smile. But for me, the key to your last paragraph is ,”if not dramatically capable”. I’m part of the JAV fan minority mostly interested in drama, and a key to drama is to challenge (stress/distress) your protagonist. It’s tough to sell distress w a radiant smile! which I think is one of the best posts of an English Subtitled AV that the site has ever posted.

I presume you might include that as within the movies you consider to be good Iroha Natsume vids. (But don’t want to presume to know your tastes. . .)

Wonder if Satsuki Fumino’s acting limitations were behind her no longer being with Madonna. . . . Her departure really shocked me. Thought that even if she wasn’t acting, say, at the level of Mutou Ayaka or Ueha Aya or Mito Kana, that she was still doing well enough to be a keeper. . .

Great choice! MIDE-073 is def Iroha Gold Standard! She’s done so much great stuff that top of head I’d have trouble coming up w definitive faves but I do always come back to Home Helper ( ADN-087 ) and have a knuckle headed liking for Six Tatami (ATID-275 ) and agree that MIDE-073 is one of our Administrator’s best subbed films ( Meguri’s Home Party GB (MIAE-076) and Erika Kitagawa’s Hell Again (URE-025) are in the mix too IMO.) I also have to agree w Javjunkie’s frequently stated opinion that Attackers is squandering the backend of a HOF JAV legend’s career with an endless string of dull, vanilla by the numbers releases. ( and yes, nothing w her in it is completely dull, I mean relative to her great stuff ) Nobody on this site is more ignorant of the workings of the JAV biz than me, so I don’t know if it’s Natsume’s choice to do this stuff -ie the easier the better- or the studio’s- maybe anything they release w her sells the same so why not just hire one cuckold and one lucky guy, rent a cheap apartment/love hotel/ Attacker exec’s house and shoot another Last Train/Sudden… Read more »
