Unfortunately, she committed suicide around February/March 2019 (age 33). Jumped from a building apparently.
Memori Shizuka posted about it, and blame was passed onto Asuka’s management Company, Zeal Group, though those posts were later removed.
I haven’t read any definitive reason for her suicide, though I read somewhere that finances were involved, and that Asuka, leading up to her suicide, hadn’t been able to contact her management agency or been paid.
