I love the subtitled movies, and also love trying to understand the title translation.
This one seemed like a 10,000 word run on. Looks like string after string of tiny characters on the cover. But the title caught my interest because of the “without permission.” Not a phrase an English speaker usually uses. Looked for the title in Japanese to see what Google Translate would do with it. And saw a lot was omitted .
It fascinates me how Google Translate changes its translation its translation if you just hit a return between the characters that you can find on line of the Original title, for instance a return after each change in character color or size, or different rows. . .
But the original from Google Translate, no returns added, of the right column had produced this:
父親が勝手に再婚して突然、義母が家にやってきていきなり母親ヅラしてきた！正直ウザい！！
Chichioya ga katte ni saikon shite totsuzen, gibo ga ie ni yattekite ikinari hahaoya dzu ra shite kita! Shōjiki Uza i! !
My father remarried without permission and suddenly my mother-in-law came to my house and suddenly I was a mother! Honestly annoying! !
Very odd result. “. . .suddenly I was a mother! . . .” would be very wrong. Glad the site changed it. But I’m not sure what it should have been changed to. . .
Thank you for the in depth explanation! Like you I use various sites that won’t be mentioned here to get srt files and always hope to see this one in the list but sadly this hasn’t been translated as of yet. Second idol 45:39 thru 1:31:29 is Suzukawa Eimi (I think – process of elimination )
Third idol 1:31:29 thru 2:09:39 is Mamiya Aya (pretty sure, from the freckle on the side of her face)
