The original Prank tag in Japanese is “イタズラ マ”, which means mischief, naughty or prank.
As you can see most of the girls appearing in pranks are schoolgirls, nurses, or many other characters that end up having sex kind of unwantedly, or they are tricked to it by some dumb male characters. I guess Japanese humor sense might have much to do with it.
