If there’s any interest by the site in addressing the name-stealing problem further, I’d hope another site filter, or more than one more, can be set up to “catch” whatever user name the troll is using to get around the “Mike” filter.

I think the troll uses a Greek Mu instead of an M.

Or the troll uses things that show up looking like picture frames between the letters (回 M 回 i 回 ke for example) if one pasted the hyperlink for the name into a word document.

There were no troll posts at all posted on February 19th. That was very remarkable.

If for some reason, the site “moderated” on that day (as opposed to the troll had to do something away from its computer that day) – I’d say the way the comment section worked on February 19th was just fine, and I’d hope to see more of it.

Admin, I second this suggestion. (made by ‘Vote to Stop Mike’)
(50 characters is of course a really tight limit. Maybe 5 or 10 lines? … And at most two comments per vid? And maybe a rule that all comments have to be about the VIDEO).
But the proposed idea itself is reasonable. It’ll stop some of the shit-posting and all the OCD bullshit that’s marring your site a lot. It’ll still allow everyone to post, but not to ‘wallpaper’ the site with nonsense.
I’ve been guilty of posting several times on a video many times myself. It’s self-indulgent obnoxious behavior, no matter who is doing it.
I encourage you to tighten up on the over-the-top commentary. It’ll improve your website.
