I thought she retired in July. Was this filmed in July and just took this long to release? Or was she active until now (December 5th 2025)?

Akari announced her retirement last year on social media, but she didn’t mention the exact date as far as I remember. Now that the coronavirus is over, filming for AVs takes 4-6 months to release, except during the coronavirus period, it took about 6 months for the release to be released.
