Once upon a time, the site tagged Tono Miho as Tōno Miho. With 2 tags

If anyone can point to even one cover that spells her name “Tsuno” – or one Social Network site of hers, or some other “official” source, some movie credit, I’ll be justly chastised.

Google Translate is not to be considered an authority. And it varies too. I tried it now and it came up with Miho Touno! I have no desire to get any deeper than this, but I’ll offer this from my past experience: Romanization of oriental words tend to be ambiguous as the original sounds are not exact equivalents in their Roman counterparts.

She’s 34 years old, soon to be 35. Her metabolism has changed. It happens to most women, even Japanese women. Keep in mind that these are models, .. and what methods do many models use to keep themselves thin ? I’ll leave that question with you, … up to you if you want to think about it or not.
So obviously Miho decided NOT to go down some of those more self destructive roads. She’s okay with weighing more than she did earlier in her life. Good on her.

Perhaps the role demanded it? Other actors have gained weight for specific characters (De Niro in Raging Bull is a famous instance).
