Black companies. . .

The things that happen there. . .

ブラック企業

Burakku kigyō

A “black company” is a company that exploits its employees under unfair conditions. These are characterized by excessively long working hours, excessive quotas, nonpayment of wages, and power harassment. While there is no legal definition, they tend to have high employee turnover rates. Characterized by low compliance awareness: There is a low awareness of the need to abide by the law, and poor working conditions exist.

The real problem with ‘black companies’ is the harassment that follows when someone wants to quit. In the company that I work for I’ve seen people have to endure four or five hour meetings to discuss why they want to quit. they leave the meetings after agreeing to try one more time …

That’s why ‘resignation agencies’ exist. These will resign on your behalf, so you can just never show up at the office again.

I had no idea these existed until my work partner mysteriously disappeared one time.

It seems resignation agents are now fair game in JAV too, bravely submitting so that their clients can leave 🙂

P.S. my company isn’t really ‘black’, but management is still a bit old-fashioned when it comes to employee retention.

Is it called a black company because they assume blacks exploit their employees? (if there ever were such a thing as a black employer or entrepreneur, in Japan)

AI says that the term originated on internet message boards, where it was used to describe illegal companies where long working hours and power harassment were rampant. The term first began to be used on internet message boards in the 2000s, and in 2013 the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare began taking measures against these companies, identifying them as “companies suspected of using young people as disposable labor.” Etymology: The word “black” (kuro) ブラック(黒い)evokes the image of “shady” companies that exploit their employees. Wikipedia says The term “black company” was coined in 2001, during the employment ice age, on the job-hunting board of 2channel. At the time, threads were rife with discussions of companies that students should not work for. Meanwhile, a so-called blacklist, which was maintained by the Hosei University Career Office and listed companies with high turnover rates that were not recommended for students, was leaked by someone involved at the time, and an image was uploaded. This blacklist and the company rankings created by the thread residents had many similarities, and from there, the term “blacklisted companies” came to be shortened to “black companies,” and became widely known through the film mentioned below. Or to quite… Read more »

Why doesn’t any of this surprise me? I rather polish my cock with a chainsaw than do business with blacks.

Troll, suspecting your comment was completely bull trolling, not just 99% bull trolling, I googled Shogun era. And got no hits at all. As if you invented that phrase. But, I phrased a question “What was the Shogun era?” and AI leapt to the rescue where a simple google search did nothing. AI said AI claimed The Shogun era was a period in Japanese history from 1192 to 1868 when a military dictator, the shogun, held the real power, while the emperor remained a ceremonial head of state. This 700-year period was characterized by feudalism and samurai rule, beginning with Minamoto no Yoritomo and ending with the Meiji Restoration. The era included several shogunate periods, such as the Kamakura, Ashikaga, and the final Tokugawa shogunate, which is notable for its 250-year rule during the Edo period. Isolationism: During the Tokugawa period (1603–1868), the shogunate implemented a policy of national seclusion, limiting foreign contact and trade. Isolationist policy: Fearing foreign influence, particularly Christianity, the shogunate implemented a policy of national seclusion (sakoku), which largely closed Japan off from the outside world for over two centuries. Is that the background for your trolling that “they were exploited more by white people during… Read more »

Can the idol’s new name be spelled correctly in this movie’s title translation?

Zenba

It’s on the cover – twice in Nihongo. once Romanized.

(Her name was never Yajima)

Zenba-san is in red on the right side of the cover.

善場さんが、

And the new name she took Zenba Mami

善場まみ

That’s in yellow across the bottom.
