The title doesn’t lie, she certainly is a once-in-a-decade pure beauty! With her looks, she’s definitely got a lot more options than the AV industry (in my opinion). But AV is from Japan, and although the objectification of women for male pleasure certainly poses some moral dilemma in any culture, perhaps the AV industry is perceived differently in Japan? As a foreigner living and working in Japan, I often observe that etchi magazines and manga with scantily clad pubescent women in convenience stores are readily available for the public to browse through, often with no seal to prevent minors from viewing them. However, there is no (apparent) public scandal for this, as if it’s already culturally accepted. Heck, even the manga has sex scenes (though censored)! I digress, but my point being is that we may frown at this beautiful lady’s career choice, but in her mind she might be taking the right step? As a member of her product’s target demographic, I’m not complaining by any means.
