When the cover says Sazanami Aya and the title translation says ripples aya. . .

Suzumiya Haruka went by many names, including Konami Aya and Sazanami Aya

佐々波 being Sazanami and 綾 being Aya (佐々 being saza and 波 nami being wave)

On a completely different note, googled 佐々波 and found:

Sazanami (漣 / さざなみ; “small wave” or “ripples”) may refer to:

Sazanami (train), a limited express train service in Japan

Japanese destroyer Sazanami, two destroyers of the Imperial Japanese Navy and one of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force

Let’s stop this piece of misinformation, shall we?

She was never “Konami Aya”. She goes nowadays by the name of “Onami Aya”, written with the 小 characters that is also read “ko” or “shou” — but the proper reading is “o”. And “Onami” phonetically sounds like “little wave” which is the same thing as her former name “Sazanami”. Which makes sense because we cannot use her former name but wants to connect to her earlier AV persona.

Other names she used include

Hashimoto Azusa
Honami
Ogasawara Ruka
Suzumiya Haruka
Onami-chan
