Well given that 2-3 years is the average lifespan of a JAV actress (Minami Natsuki quit too and she only joined in 2014), I think 6 years a solid career for Kanae. Given that being a porn actress can be a physically and mentally taxing job (especially if you’re not a studio exclusive one-movie-per-month type like the S1 girls) it’s no suprise that even some of the best talents burn out after a while.
To put it simply: Not everybody can be Yui Hatano or Yoshizawa Akiho. Hope Kanae has a bright future ahead of her.
From my point of view, she’s quitting early, kind of “in the middle” with still a few good years still left in the tank. But we don’t know if she’s burned out, or if she has something better to do.
