REALLY wondering what happened when the site went down for 10 hours on 4 16 2025
I’d been part of QUITE a discussion, all replying to a comment by pusher that had suggested – um – urged the site to change her actress hyperlink name from Tenjin Hagoromo to Ui Amagami (or was it Amagami Ui) ?
And the site had done so.
Now, after the 10 hours or so that the site was down, there’s no trace of that huge detailed discussion among pusher, myself, Bakayaro (Admin) and TS60 (and perhaps Andrew – can’t really recall)
And the actress hyperlink reverted back to the rejected translation –Tenjin Hagoromo)
But it all boiled down to – her Social Media clearly has Ui Amagami like the cover, and there are ways to read 天神羽衣 as Amagami Ui.
No wonder I can’t access the website yesterday, i thought my internet was down or something
On reading/spelling/understanding her name. Thru comments that are no longer there, learned
Even though 天神羽衣 translates to Tenjin Hagoromo – and 天神羽衣 is in the cover’s writing in Nihongo/Nippongo, which reads:

The English on the Cover reads Ama top left, Gami top right. And although its a lot harder to see, there’s a U and and i at the bottom corners, which is where the “Ui” is found on the cover.
天 – often read ten (heaven) – per google translate – can also be read Ama

Top right is 神 kami (divinity) – per google translate (But Gami sounds about the same)
(羽 “U – bottom left is the fifth degree (of the Japanese & Chinese pentatonic scale and 衣 “i at the bottom right is clothing
But if her name is to be Amagami – what does it mean?
(Ama Gami – per Google Translate – means “amateur sees”)
There had been a wonderful comment here by TS60 explaining that 天神 “Tenjin ” does not merely mean “heavenly god” or “god of the heavens” but more importantly, is the name of a neighborhood. Tenjin is located in the western part of Fukuoka City, not far from Hakata Station. It is bustling with a wide variety of stores, bars, restaurants, and entertainment.
TS60‘s comment had explained how the use of 天神, even reading her name as Ui Amagami / Amagami Ui, works very well with promoting an idol from Fukuoka . . .
The 10 hours down time the site went thru, which seems to have resulted in many comments lost, really lost a good comment there.
Hope TS60 comes back here, chimes in again.
