I don’t know about the “in the rain” part, but kyuudou and its practitioners are surely the embodiment of gentility. If you combined this with Honjou Suzu, herself the epitome of Japanese elegance, we’d surely get something extraordinary.

That Kyūdō is practiced by over a hundred thousand people worldwide.
That the bow they use is called a yumi (弓), that it has an asymmetrical shape and length of more than 2.0 metres (6 ft 7 in), and that its use is characterized by the archer gripping the lower third of the bow stave to shoot.
