The story setup seems cool at first: Akari has lost her Mother and she is living in poverty with the Father now. She gets scouted by an idol agency and she initially refuses, so the Father goes ape shit on her teaching her a lesson. After that, is Akari getting rekt non-stop.

Excellent drama, I like the tension and the training of Akari-chan. I’m just wondering, is this film incest? It looks like Tomohiro Abe, the one that train Akari-chan is her own dad? That’s is my impression, I might be wrong as I don’t understand Japanese.
