As in – how can a studio like Giga ever have existed, continue to exist, making these kinds of movies?
I’ll give them this. They’re colorful, they give makeup/costume people a chance to have a career.
And they fill some kind of niche that I don’t understand
And in a way, they’re very close to something my father used to do. As a young man, before I was born, he worked at the George Pal studios, working for the Hungarian-American animator, film director and producer, who filmed fantasy and science-fiction genres. Of the type popularized in the opening to the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the song Science Fiction Double Feature.
Sometimes watching cheesy sci-fy is just a nice fun brainless release.
So – Giga movies combine that with some sex with BEAUTIFUL women. (Arisu Mai and Misaki Sakura really are stunningly beautiful.
But frankly – despite my dad’s lurid youth, and my Huge approval of this move – I kind of agree with you. These movies aren’t to my taste at all, and I usually don’t understand what drives all this.
And frankly – don’t understand the appeal of cosplay . . .
As for demand for this particular video. Seeing lovely favorites like Arisu Mai and Misaki Sakura together, briefly touching each other in clothed lesbian touching, was a wonderful experience.
Not sure if they’ll ever try to do a full on nude sexual lesbian movie together in the future, or whether this movie may end up being the only time the world sees them together in the same room.
But if I hadn’t seen this for free, and I was a fan in the habit of buying these kinds of things, I might have contributed the purchase price. . . (or rental price?)
(Do people still rent adult movies? Or is that gone with the 80s and 90s?)
