In the middle of the movie, the call the husband receives is from a journalist, asking him where his wife is, alerting him the company is the target of a sexual harassment investigation spurred by former female employees and corporate competitors.
Near the end of the movie, as the Yamori Wakana‘s interview ends, she asks the journalist not to reveal everything, says she doesn’t know if her husband knows what happened to her personally, even after the sexual harassment that police and journalists had been investigating from before her hiring was clearly poised to next be turned on her. She admits that for the past six months, she had been going thru some very stimulating and unforgettable (sexual) days. She admits she can’t forget or get over what happened. Then the movie cuts to end on her looking again at the magazine piece while in the abandoned office.
