Considering the near total lack of punishment for rape in Japan if the perps are even arrested, I’d say she had the right idea. Typically suspended sentences if the guy confesses to a third party, not the victim, and restitution (wtf) with maybe a fine if he promises not to do it again. Maybe a 2-3 year sentence if there are threats or violence (apparently rape isn’t violent?). If she’d been successful I’d vote not guilty since murder, especially multiple murders is a capital offence, punishable by hanging.
How do you know the plot? I don’t see any wedding? Just starts with a beat down? Confusing.
