The first scene was excellent. Sakura Momo has a wonderful body and excellent skills.
Ideapocket’s new release announcement day comes in a couple days (13th). I’m keeping my fingers crossed. If she did stealth-retire back in December, after her Instagram meltdown, there should be at the very least 1 or 2 movies left. She’s one of the 3 AV Open 2018 campaign girls, so she cannot retire before the award ceremony sometime in May, on a yet unspecified date. If it’s in the second half of May, that would come after Ideapocket’s announcement day. This means they’d need no less than 6 movies shot in advance before her hypothetical retirement in order to keep releasing regularly and pretend everything’s OK. If they skip a release it’d be a disastrous omen.
tl/dr her December Instagram meltdown (suicidal thoughts, etc.) points towards a likely steal-retirement. Anything unusual in her next releases would all but confirm it.

The most recent one is a positive note. She apologizes for the previous posts, thanks everybody for the support, says she’s no longer hikikomori’ng and she’s feeling much better, going out and meeting people. Not fully recovered yet and still unstable but she can only go up from there.
So I did some searching myself and found a discussion in reddit talking about it and can confirm what javver said. They also have screenshots of her posts that time. It’s very likely that we’ll hear about a retirement soon. It’s unfortunate, but if it’s to help with her recovery, then I fully support her.
What matters to me is that she’s in a much better position mental health-wise than she was at December. Depression and suicidal thoughts are no joke especially in a country like Japan. If Momo getting better comes at the expense of her AV career it would be a painful but acceptable decision for me.
Some guys look at AV actresses with contempt (and then fap to them). I myself can’t help but feel compassion for those who work hard and take their job seriously (likewise, lazy girls who give no effort get zero sympathy from me); they’re facing social stigma which a second of reflection shows as undeserved. They don’t hurt anybody and there’s a ton of people actually harming others and in no way ostracized like AV performers. It thus saddens me (obviously to a lesser degree) to see her in such a situation, and hope she overcomes it. Now that I think about it, her social media is mostly about photoshoots and new about her next release. I can’t really recall personal posts, or pictures where she’s hanging out with other actresses (thus making her an introvert type like Tsujimoto An). But like you said whatever happens, we can only hope it will end good and not crash-and-burn style.
