DECEMBER 2018 JAV DIGEST + GOSSIPS
A couple things have changed on the website:
- Member’s area completely revamped and more functions added. Old members can keep using the old login.
- Favorite button has been added.
- Secondary favorite button added too. It’s called “seen”, but in reality, it can be used as anything.
- Both favorite lists can be visited and customized in the member’s area, and the latest comments can be checked as well as usual.
- Random button removed (temporarily).
- Local actress ranking removed (permanently). This will be substituted for the DMM rankings, which have more value.
- Many other minor cosmetic changes, especially a bunch of improvements for mobile users.
- Live searches. The search button now allows for live searches before clicking, this might allows for faster searches (Still testing this function).

- RION sudden disappearance mystery solved: she voluntarily retired. She made such a strong case to her agency about her retirement (and vouched to not join another), that her current agency (T-POWERS) agreed to let her go.
- Amano Miyu (天野美優) to retire.
- Aimi Yoshikawa (吉川あいみ) to retire.
- Riri Hosho (宝生リリー) confirmed retirement. Some might remember her as Memori Shizuku. Truly hurts, I was really enjoying her fantastic new videos. 😢
- Sasaki Aki (佐々木あき) to retire.
- Maijima Akari (舞島あかり) to retire.
- Karen Uehara retirement video finally was out this December: MMNA-018. 8 months after the retirement announcement.
- Kisaki Aya (希咲あや) to retire.
- Sora Aoi got pregnant.
- Matsuri Kiritani graduates from SOD.
- Mizuhara Noa has changed her name to Narusawa Kisaki (成沢きさき).
- Ito Chinami no longer in the business, and her videos rumored that will be removed from selling.
- Matsuda Miko graduates from idol group Honey popcorn + left S1 without much glory.
- Kokona Yuzuki to debut for Idea pocket.
- Shunka Ayami to retire.
So that has been 2018. When it comes to retirements it has been a total slaughter… A few less good actresses debuted in AV at 2018 compared to 2017, and the mosaic censorship is worse than ever. 😌

How many retirements. Surely what makes me sadder is that of Ayami Shunka. Even Houshou Riri and Sasaki Aki make me very sad.
I don’t know if it’s the effect of all the other retirements before, but Shunka’s retirement doesn’t hits me as hard as I expected. Her sudden turn from Prestige to S1 feels very much like an afterword in her AV career (like when Riku Minato went from freelance to a studio exclusive) and judging from her other pictures on twitter/instagram, her passion seems to be music. Like Asahi, Sasaki Aki and the others she had a great run, and I will appriciate her work for a long time.
Yeah! She absolutely wants a musical career and in fact has already performed a couple of times in live. As I understand in recent months she has recording in the studio, so she could soon begin in the music world.
For me it was a shock. She’s the only one I followed since the debut (excluding the debutants of the last 2 years).
When she didn’t posted photos of her cat, it was her room full of guitars, keyboards, sheets of written music. At least it’s comforting to know that unlike other retired AV girls she had planned for the future and I wish her nothing but success.
is her singing good?
I guess they all have individual reasons but I find it so surprising that many of these girls choose to retire on the peak of their popularity and what should be their best earning years.

I wish I hadn’t read this blog. Really sad. Rion was my favorite along with Nanami Matsumoto and Ito Chinami. Now they are gone forever. With Aymi Shunka, seems like lot of big stars have left SSNI studio. Anyone, thinks some of these Jav stars could make a comeback one day?
Nanami Matsumoto has left S1 and has either moved to Fitch (which has her next release) or is freelancing. She hasn’t changed her name either.
Did she get fired or left on her own? She is on twitter right?
Hi Admin, Happy New Year. Just wanted to know, where did you find out about the Rion story? Really strange for her to do that right? What do you think the real reason is? Adding to the list, Mio Hinata is also retiring, last shoot was on Christmas Eve 2018 I believe.

The way she left I would not hope a RION comeback.
We don’t need her comeback anyways, her more recent videos were quite bad, and her face was looking more unhealthy every month. Especially her eyes, something that not even the heavy makeup she applied could cover anymore.
Also, comebacks in JAV almost never happen.

Really saddened by the amount of retirements. We lost some good ones this year. Shunka’s was really surprising to me.

Honesty, i see retirements happening more. Japan society and JAV industry gives the actress many options to quit. Be a pornstar, make money fast, have career after. If you have talent. Japan makes it so easy and with social media it becoming easier.

Anyone can translate the retirement message from Aimi Yoshikawa’s instagram? November 9 post, black and white. 2 different translations show very contrasting meanings especially the last few sentences. One sounds good, the other one sounds depressing. First translation saaid she graduated from uni but she chose to do JAV, and asked us to stay in school so you can choose your job with no regrets.
The second translation from Yandex paints a much sadder tone, where she’s asking us to graduate from Uni, stay in school. Don’t be like her, she only graduated high school and regrets doing JAV.
Which of the two is the right translation?
I think the second one is the right translation, Aimi said she only has high school education, regrets entering JAV so young and advices young girls no throw their academic career for a cheap payday in porn. Her’s a really sad story, I also heard that she grew up pretty much an orphan in an institution which explains her bad life choices.
