AVOD-401 is 2018’s AV-OPEN Digest. Or in other words, a compilation of trailer clips for the upcoming videos belonging to the Adult video Open 2018, which this year will launch in February 2019. A minor delay we had this year, but hey, that’s fine 🙂, I’m just happy we will have AVOP after all.
For most people, this video digest won’t be much, but I really enjoyed watching the previews.
As a note, AVOD-401 and AVOD-402 contents are exactly the same. That wasn’t a mistake. There are 69 previews. Also, this year AVOP ambassadors are Sonoda Mion, Toda Makoto, and Sakura Momo. 3 solid cuties.
I also want to mention about the previews I really liked and looked promising=
Special mentions:
- AVOP-404. This was the biggest shocker and the most promising video. A SOD video in which all the girls speak in Chinese especially for the occasion, the video captions are natively in Chinese too… Man… Wtf?… wow. It includes Suzu Honjo and Hatano Yui speaking in Chinese. Hatano was so good and fluent at it actually, haha, the madwoman. The Chinese fans are going to implode with this video. Tbh it was so awesome and this is why SOD is so based, they are always the most creative at doing JAV. I want exactly this but in English, god let it happen…
- AVOP-450. A Dream ticket video with 2 girls in the threating suite series. It’s a Ririka total destruction video. Might be just a good trailer, who knows, but Ririka looked insanely hot and out of her mind. Now that we know what she is capable of. I truly wanna see this video.
Some other videos I liked:
- AVOP-409. A prestige 100 people X creampie featuring Aizawa Maria (逢沢まりあ), RIP…
- AVOP-410. A Honaka 100 people X creampie. A humongous orgy with like 30 girls(?). An insanely high number of actresses will appear here, including Kawana Minori, Mukai Ai, Atani and Hamasaki Mao among others.
- AVOP-412. Hachino Tsubasa in an enhanced lighting video.
- AVOP-418. A Hitomi OPPAI video which a doujin adaptation. Looked promising af.
- AVOP-424. I saw Taku and Bakky in the interview and the video is starred by Fukushii Rena for Tamaya studio. Looks awesome and I really can’t wait for this one.
- AVOP-432. A ROCKET video with Mihara Honoka and Akari who look really nice.
- AVOP-442. A prestige video featuring Tsubaki Emi (椿井えみ), so she is joining Prestige?? Wow 🤩
- AVOP-445. An Attackers video featuring Kawana Minori, it looked promising tbh.
- AVOP-447. An Emumusume lab extreme hardcore video which sents 3 girls to hell… not even kidding, seriously r3kt.
- AVOP-465. A Marrion video featuring Haruna Hana and all her humongous humanity.
Many other videos seemed interesting too but I can’t mention them all. The videos will release on early February, or very late January if I’m not wrong. One thing I noticed is a notable lack of loli videos. Which might be a coincidence, or might be that there more in the other half of the digest. Or might be even a trend?… Mmmm.
Gonna be awesome, people will complain that this year AVOP sucks (same complaints as every year), but the batch looked fairly promising.
SOME PREVIEW COVERS
so uh… I actually speak Chinese, and I dunno if AVOP 404 will be that good. All the girls speak Chinese so poorly that it’s kinda weird. For English speakers try to imagine them asking you “Is it comfortable” over and over except it’s mangled to the point of “copmflraple?” where you’re wondering what the hell she said and you don’t get it until you see the subtitle, and then you kind of internally go “oh hmmm I guess that IS what she said.” I didn’t get to hear enough of Yui or Hibiki’s attempts but I hope it’s good enough so that it won’t make the video weird. I’ve always been really open about how much I like them both, so if they can pull this off it’ll be a video for the ages for me. It would make sense if Yui can speak Chinese pretty well tho, she has a huge fanbase in Taiwan.
Yeah, they speak in very slow-mo but its cool. A Japanese girl speaking in broken English is sexy as hell, I would settle for that in a second.
I agree on the broken English, actually. I think the reason why the preview of the Chinese speaking was so off putting was because they were so robotic and rehearsed in their lines. When I see japanese tarentos speaking english it’s cute because they actually know a little English and watching them struggle is funny as they try to apply their knowledge. In this case it just felt like they were repeating some syllables.
I highly recommend DVDES-856, which is the only JAV I’ve seen that has Japanese girls speaking English. Only one of the three girls can really speak much English at all, and the sound recording is really lousy, but it’s pretty entertaining anyway.
And yeah, I do wish there were more JAV like that.
That Rocket video looks absolutely crazy. But the rest of the videos look very promising as well. It’s kinda strange how S1 seems to sit out this years AV Open, one would thing that the 15th Anniversary video with the fans would be their entry.

As much as I love Hitomi and I do, I NEVER get my hopes high for her movies anymore. She tries to give good performances but its failed after failed. I do blame OPPAI more for the clusterfuck though.
Did a bit of research and it seems the girl in AVOP-401 (the IdeaPocket debut), Yuduki Kokona might just be the biggest celebrity entry into AV since Miu Nakamura. She’s done everthing from singing, voice acting to gravure and even appeared in quite a few television series.

The Japan society makes it easy for AV stars or regular stars do various works. Agencies provide them with multiple names to give them another career. Western porn stars some have different names but once you have sex on camera its almost a done career.
