Hello all. For those who have followed my commentary of Ichiki’s movies since her return will no doubt know where this is most likely going to go. The lights. Not only the lights, but a dark room which now creates excessive shadows. Because the rooms are so dark the light is even brighter and the camera constantly points into it. What are they thinking! On the camera too, it drifts out of focus at various stages and most pointedly at 45:31. Out of focus and then the shadows. Could we not ruin it more? They actually do by panning up Ichiki’s body to fast to stop at her face and then it goes out of focus again. We could have lingered longer at 45:31. Panned down a little? There are numerous others focus failures through out. The first scene is ruined by the light through the window and the dark room. I could watch Ichiki all day in CG and RCG but not when there is this light behind the window and a glare type light at that because of the curtains. I could go on. The best little scene is at 48:17. While I feel that I have made my point. I would like to make it again and add to it. I’ve watched JUQ-912 a couple of times and can best sum up my frustrations with the section from 26:04 to 28:31. Ichiki body could look no better than from the angle, position, style. It is ruined by the lights, the camera, the shadows across her body, the blurriness of the camera from the light and the periodical poor zooming. Can I add in the stupid tree on the table. It’s not arty farty to put object in, blocking, annoying the view, it just annoying. I’m off to Japan to be a camera director.
