It’s subtitled now. It’s great. The dialogue is amazing. It basically paints her as living almost the actual life she really lived. The dialogue has her explaining she had been in a group, a singing dancing idol, but can’t continue with that. The young college boy is excited to hear is, because he realizes he actually knew some of the group’s songs, bought some of their records. Yet there she is with him, low wages, taking shifts randomly at the soup business.
And at the end, with her pregnant by the young boy, leaving her husband at the end to set off with her young baby daddy after they were both fired (boss saw on security cam that they’d had sex in the kitchen while as work), it’s a big thing. Pregnant and taking a chance, leaving her husband, going off with the boy hoping they are able to support themselves and a kid with their next jobs.
