ok, this always pisses me off. Ichikawa-san is not an old man! Middle-aged at most. I’d love to see Ruisa doing scenes with an old man, but it would have to be ACTUAL old man.
Good point. Perhaps they meant it in the colloquial sense of husband. Who would qualify as an actual old man? Yesteryear stud turned paunchy grey (Ozawa, Ohki, Oshima…wow so many O-actors!) or yesteryear geriatric now on autopilot (Yamada, Tokuda etc.)?
