Love the site’s User Submission feature 🙂

Requested this – well, because I wanted to continue seeing the site post more of the great OYC code movies by Oyashoku Company / Mousozoku

Thanks Admin and mods for posting 🙂

All 351 minutes here 🙂

Glad to see that. It’s risky requesting a movie of this length. They sometimes get posted only in part. . .

Two thumbs up to the site for posting the whole (fairly long) flick.

FWIW, the “2. . .” that the title translation ends with does not mean this is the second of a sequence of movies in a series. It isn’t.

Instead, it was just the point where the on line typing/excerpting of the writing on the cover ended, meaning the powers that be that typed up the excerpt of the cover’s original Nippongo/Nihongo that can be used to translate the title cut off the excerpt there.

And a point of the cutoff doesn’t seem all that important.

The “2” in question is written with a Purple outline, pink core.

The purple/pink “2” is right in the middle of the cover, lost in the blizzard of things written before and after it.

Its in the third line down, white and purple characters that begin

しかし、そこに女神が!2…
Shikashi, soko ni megami ga! 2…
But there’s a goddess! 2…

(May never know what the rest of the next sentence that begins with “2” says. My cell phone’s Google Translate camera feature wouldn’t translate the purple outline/pink core characters, and I couldn’t find the full sentence anywhere on the net.)

This movie had such issues translating the title,, I think the site did well with the first sentence, all things considered.

ヤリサー Yarisā apparently means a university club that exists for the purpose of getting women drunk and taking advantage of them

だった is apparently a plain form past tense marker, typically used with nouns and な-adjectives

The HUGE characters on the cover, they apparently say

ヤラレサーだった!
Yararesādatta!

(And yet Google Translate thinks that means “He was a yara racer!”)

The less huge characters, the ones at the top right that should probably come first, they say (per Google Translate)

ヤリサーに入ったと思ったら
Yarisā ni haitta to omottara
I thought I was in Yarisa

女の先輩に喰われまくる
On’na no senpai ni kuwa re makuru
Being eaten up by a female senior

Put those two lines together, and Google Translate comes up with

Just when I thought I had joined the gang, I was eaten up by a female senior.

Continuing on the issues translating this movie’s title

The on-line source for the Nippongo/Nihongo includes the first line (two sentences) of the Huge paragraph of small writing.

Remembering ヤリサー Yarisā apparently means a university club that exists for the purpose of getting women drunk and taking advantage of them)

And noting 脱童貞 Datsu dōtei means roughly “lost virginity”

– That paragraph begins:

ヤリサー (in blue) と噂されるサークルに入って (in small white) 脱童貞 (in bigger yellow) を虎視眈々と狙うボク!そして待望の初飲み会!(in small white)

Yarisā (in blue) to uwasa sa reru sākuru ni haitte (in small white) datsu dōtei (in yellow) o koshitantan to nerau boku! Soshite taibō no hatsu nomi-kai!

University club I joined a circle that is rumored to be for getting women dunk and I’m intent on losing my virginity! And the long-awaited first drinking party!

Well roughly what the site had . . .

The site omitted the next line that was available to translate the cover. It is the second line of the huge paragraph, and is all in white

しかし、性格までは変えられず男友達と一緒に話しているだけで飲み会が終わり解散…。

Shikashi, seikaku made wa kae rarezu otoko tomodachi to issho ni hanashite iru dake de nomi-kai ga owari kaisan….

Which Google Translate said means roughly

However, she cannot change her personality and just talks with her male friends until the drinking party ends and they break up.

And then comes the excerpt that I commented about, which is just some of the third line of the huge paragraph

しかし、そこに女神が!2…
Shikashi, soko ni megami ga! 2…
But there’s a goddess! 2…
