But looking up its meaning, its On and Kun readings is something. I saw:

和 – 8 strokes – Reading     On: ワ, オ, カ    Kun: やわ.らぐ, やわ.らげる, なご.む, なご.やか, あ.える  Meaning     harmony, Japanese style, peace, soften, Japan

姦 – 9 strokes – Reading     On: カン, ケン    Kun: かん.する, かしま.しい, みだ
ら  Meaning     wicked, mischief, seduce, rape, noisy

No wonder the title translations were all so different. . .

Would love it if a Japanese Speaker would chime in on what they think is the best translation of ザ・和姦
