Not that consistency is needed all or most of the time. But –

I’m just amazed at all the titles the site has given movies in this series.

The title seems short

男根の誘い
Dankon no sasoi

Google translate translated that as “phallic invitation.”

The site came up with a title for the series on its series hyperlink that sounds good:

Phallic lure

But the actual movie title translations vary so . . .

[MEYD-025] Tempted by a Penis – Kaho Kasumi
[MDYD-951] A Cock’s Temptation Hitomi
[MEYD-148] The Temptation of Male Desire – Shibuya Kaho
[MEYD-197] The Temptation of the Male Genitalia, Fukiishi Rena
[MEYD-039] Temptation of the Phallus – Miyabe Ryouka
[MEYD-043] Temptation of the Phallus – Azuma Rin
[MEYD-122] Invitation of a male genital Enshiro Hitomi
[MEYD-132] Invitation of a male genital Tanihara Nozomi

They say an elephant never forgets

I’d say a translation program never remembers. . . never learns . . . (Doesn’t do consistent)

Simple explanation – They are not all done by the same program. Perhaps by humans who don’t understand English or Japanese or neither.

The film Traveling alone for 1000s of miles comes to mind. A Japanese man visits China and converses with the locals through a local translator. Towards the end of the film, the villagers express their suspicion that the translator does not know any Japanese…it turns out that he knows a few American English phrases…and since he is the only person in the village who can speak a few non-Chinese words, he is considered a foreign language expert…

The classic line from the 1971 film Avanti also comes to mind. An American consular official in Italy: “I don’t mind people speaking in a foreign language. I just wish they would all speak in the same foreign language!”

A learning program would also not repeat a translation…which some may consider faulty. It is a hard life being a translating program (or programs)….
