The original did censor the ちんこ (chinko) which means penis. (Or dick) But how does the censored “ち●こ” translate to an English “ch**ks.”

Seems like the translation used Nippongo/Nihongo for the ch of “chinko” before the ●, but then switched to English for the second half of cocks after?

Or am I missing something?
