Interesting tag, that “Horror” tag. . . Looked like only 11 movies in the site’s history got that tag, and some of them didn’t seem like they should have. . .

Don’t think I’d ever Really want to be scared by a sex movie.

But it is October. . .

Can anyone explain why the cover says AKEBI?

Tried to google it, found nothing that made sense to me. . .

Except Akebi – Japanese girl(female) name 明 means “bright, clear, obvious.” Bright, Light – Refers to something that is illuminated by light, making it bright and clear.

Is it a character name in the movie?

Reply to  Mike

the akebi アケビ or 通草 is a fruit bearing vine in Japan. They might be using the concept of the akebi fruit as a metaphor. For example, the fruit could symbolize something hidden (since you have to open it to see and taste its contents), or it could represent a rare or unexpected discovery, given that the fruit isn’t widely consumed.

Hmmm. . . .

And the ghost angle . . .?

I didn’t actually listen to the movie yet – meaning with the sound audible. . .

I wonder if I would hear someone say Akebi if its there in the movie for the hearing. . .

Found this description on line

The exorcism hunter is guided to the room where the crime took place, and there he encounters something unexpected. And then the blue man’s arm suddenly disappears. When I saw each other again, I felt an unusual mixture of fear and pleasure…
