Don’t want to be pedantic, but I want to point out it’s technically of Manchu origin, it was incorporated into China when the Manchu were the ruling dynasty. Prior to that, the traditional dress was the various types of Hanfu (汉服 | 漢服), literally “Han (people) clothing”, the super billowy flowing gowns you see in dramas.
