I sse people got some serious stereotype issue about India, most of them do not realise that indian is hugely diversed nation with multiple ethnicity, may be it is like that they think all indians are brown skinned , but north and north eastern indians are having fair complexion mostly….its the south and central indians who people think as tje only kinds of Indian…
As for this girls she might be from north east, i am from central india and met a north eastern indian in a japanese fest in the capital…i TOTALLY confused him with japanese as there were many japanese natives there….and started trying to talk to him in japanese…it was then he said he is from assam (north indian state)….
So yeah , it will be good if people let go of streotypes set mainly by americans and try to look into truth…not that it matyers much if they don’t though, things won’t change for us, all of us won’t become dark skinned just because you want to see us that way….
