It still makes me laugh the amounts of people who actually believed the false rumors about her. It was wild.

In examining the recent depreciation of the yen, perhaps no story is more revealing than that coming out of China regarding former adult video (AV) starlet Rola Misaki.
The China Record news site is reporting that the 22-year-old has inked a 15-year “monopoly” contract with a wealthy Chinese businessman in which she will be compensated the equivalent of 965 million yen.
The case, sniffs evening tabloid Nikkan Gendai (May 12), is yet another example of the extreme buying power of China, and Japan can only stand by and watch.
Update: It looks like this story may be a bunch of fanciful bullshit. The millionaire, who apparently goes by “Serious Man” online, has denied the tabloid reports on social media.
Update 2 (5/19): According to the Shukan Post, an industry insider said the masked man started the rumor as a publicity stunt to bolster his own reputation.
I think this modern slavery tale gave everybody a collective erection.
While it’s true that Rola would whore herself up for far less than 5m, this story made no sense whatsoever and in the end, is not a good look for them.
They justified it as a publicity stunt and It’s been denied by both parties.
I once or twice skimmed Chinese forum of JAV and….If there is one truth of this fabricated humor, is that Rola Takizawa is the pioneer of Chinese interest in JAV. And because of it, she highly popular in China. Far surpasses her fame in all her JAV time among Japanese.
