It is a good thing when viewers have diametrically opposite reactions. I thought the Haruka/Ataru pair’s scenes were much hotter. Of course, the script has it that she is the more demure wife and so is a slower seduction and hence more enjoyable when she lets go (which she does extremely well, I thought). Of course, I have the mange bias and there is no denying that. Kanna has the easier task of seducing Yudzuru and hence her scenes are not as edgy. Not her fault, so I guess agree with you that she needs to be in a different feature with a different script.
