If you go really deep down, low mindedness exists everywhere and it leads to this form of jingoism. The fact that you are not held responsible for whatever you post eventually results in all the dark human behaviors emerging here. The locale is just incidental. I have travelled extensively in SEA and I never felt any undercurrents of these rivalries. I always think, if we are all physically in a room watching JAV, how many of these comments will be traded? If you would post something here that you would not say in person, then it is a form of cowardice, is it not? Everyone should ask this basic question: will I type this if the other person is in front me? With a bunch of people around me. Plus there is this aspect of shame/guilt that people have watching AV (JAV or otherwise). In the outside world, everyone talks it down (while most will be watching in private going by the multibillion dollar industry that it is). Very few people are actually comfortable with watching it and appreciating it in a positive way (you, Mike are one of the few).
