Can’t say I can see yet where the “mendacious” in the title would come from. . .
The “mendacious” in this odd title translation seems to come from the top line in white on the cover, just to the left of the English writing “I am her pet.”
The top row’s Japanese comes out of Google Translate seeming like nonsense:

over time, nono yuuki had turned into such a pretty lady that is now prettier than the frontrunners of other major labels. it’s sad that she’s retiring during her best state.
