It seems there’s the almost pure stream of new releases lately, without the prior mix of older posts also filling in quality handpicked older movies. Posting old movies is much more time-intensive (harder to locate good quality rips) and brings fewer clicks per unit of human capital (economics of long-tail distributions). So I can’t promise it’ll be kept. We’ve already optimized some technological costs (for instance with Cloudflare), but ultimately labor itself needs to be optimized in this highly competitive field.

Makes me wonder how many people labor to keep the site going, how many average hours a day it usually requires, how much more time to smell the roses would be created if the site never resumed posting the older movies.
