I keep reading about this “user submits feature”, but I can’t find it. I also see “Subs requests = not allowed” in the nav. Not to ignorant, but… what is it?
Its at the bottom of the screen, in black. I’ve never used it with a cell phone, only with a lap top (or suppose a desk top would work – or tablet?) You type in the code at top, title next box, hypelink below that, and fill in a number to prove you’re human. (I use the lap top to use a mouse, and not have to type out a hyperlink. Clicking it in is so much easier. . )
(There’s more to User Submits that I haven’t tried, that lets you try to write an intro. . .)
The times it worked for me, the Admin and mods posted the vid three days or more after the request, sometimes weeks later, but often about two to three days later. . . (Usually on “slower” days where there aren’t the usual number of quality new releases. . .)
Hope you give the User Submits a try. I haven’t seen many people taking credit for any, and most of the ones I did that got posted did not have the User Submission hyperlink. So its hard to tell how many of the site’s posts were User Submissions. But I’d bet they’re high quality, if someone cares enough to request them, and the Admin and mods approve the post.
