This looks so fabulous. Quite different ending from [SAME-006] The day a convicted rapist fucks a woman for the first time in 10 years. Natsu Tojoand [SAME-014] The day a convicted rapist who has served his sentence fucks a woman for the first time in 10 years. Tsubaki Sannomiya. For a second, I thought it might end like “In the Realm of the Senses.” But as to the intro’s question “I’m just confused by the ending. Why didn’t Runa take revenge?” Would love to hear from the commenters on that. And would love to read this one subbed.

It’s an awesome rape flick. I reviewed it in an earlier comment. Note that it is HARD-CORE downer rape action, so not the usual “she got raped and she ended up enjoying it” JAV fluff. Runa goes through hell in this one.

Where to even start with SAME-017? This is one of the most spectacular rape JAVs I’ve seen in a while and sets a new standard in many fronts. The story begins as we see a visibly traumatized Runa-chan going about her business making it very clear she’s a lonely rape victim who cannot even bear the touch of her childhood friend as he tries to comfort her. Via flashbacks we see our protagonist in her high school (complete with laughable “adults in school uniforms acting like teens” lol) and we see the inciting incident: Her Phys Ed trainer starts groping her and eventually ambushes her in the lockers raping her for a bit before her school buddy hears her screeams and comes rushing to her help. Back in the present time our heroine starts getting an anxiety attack once she learns that the rapist apparently has been released and lo and behold, her paranoia is rewarded when he sneaks into her home to begin a rape fest througout the movie. Do you understand Japanese? I rally wish I could understand what the rapist says to her as she strangles him. I’d thought it might end like “In the Realm of the Senses”/ L’Empire des sens, 愛のコリーダ, Ai no Korīda, “Bullfight of Love” That was the first Japanese movie with explicit sex I ever saw. And it ended with the man asking to be strangled as his sexual fetish, but she held on so long it killed him. And wondered, what is said by her or by voice over that implies she jumps out that window at the end?
I need to rewatch it to get a good listen. I’m not 100% fluent so it takes a bit of concentration. Most of what I caught was on the initial assault and it’s all “ahh, it’s been many years, hasn’t it? You don’t know how much I missed seeing you, etc. etc. etc.”. I honestly couldn’t concentrate too much when he starts to choke and fuck her at the same time 😀
The final line by Runa is Mattete Ne. (まってて). It’s literally “wait for me, ok?” but is more colloquially used like a friendly “brb” type of saying goodbye/signing off. She’s basically signaling that she’s taking the express elevator to the basement at that moment. Lol.
Double post because I took a look at the end to try to make out what he’s saying. These “thug” -yakuza type of guys are always hard to understand, so it’s a bit beyond me. Can’t make what he’s saying when he first mumbles upon awakening. But the rest of the lines seems to be something along the lines of:
“your couldn’t fool me before, you might as well kill yourself” -Anyways, That’s what I got.
