Confused. I’ve never stood a chance of learning the Japanese writing system(s) so – I really don’t understand if the names Kudou Yura and Kudou Rara look or sound close, for Japanese writers and speakers. Its really just hopeless for me. I’ll never learn Japanese writing. Too intimdated, too old, novone to practice with . . . The fact that the Japanese can type text messages on cell phones Astounds me. Hiragana and katakana, kanji ( and of them, for instance 881 kyōiku kanji) – I looked up the writing and text messaging in Wikipedia. My head is spinning. It said: Sentences are commonly written using a combination of all three Japanese scripts: kanji (in red), hiragana (in purple), and katakana (in orange), and in limited instances also include Latin alphabet characters (in green) and Arabic numerals (in black):

Tシャツ3 枚購入しました

The same text can be transliterated to the Latin alphabet (rōmaji), although this will generally only be done for the convenience of foreign language speakers:

shatsu o sanmai kōnyū shimashita.
Translated into English, this reads:

I bought 3 T-shirts

So how does one write Kudou Yura and Kudou Rara? With the Japanese writing system. . .

Since we’re talking about name, their stage name in particular, take notice that once an actress released one video, the name written on the cover will usually remain the same thorough her career unless she announced name change.

Not much I can say for the rest except try your best by taking JLPT test. Good luck.

The last name is the same, 工藤 kudou. Yura’s name is written with hiragana ゆら and rara’s name written with katakana ララ. Some name like ゆら could be written with kanji but girls name often written in hiragana to be more cute, girly.

The family name is Kudou – 工藤
Yura’s first name is written using hiragana, ゆら, and Lala / Rara / Lara’s name is written with katakana, ララ.

If you stop wanking for 30 minutes, it’s not difficult to learn hiragana and katakana
