All good movies have relatable stories and characters, and a buildup of pressure of whatever angst or trigger the viewers have internalized from their lives. Without the buildup, there is no cathartic release. I’m guessing you come pre-pressurized, and come looking only for the release, while many of us enjoy the buildup just as much as the climactic scene, if not more. For me, two hours of meaningless hardcore scenes does little, and are almost as boring as Michael Mann movies with two hours of non-stop action scenes (yawn!).

I was already thinking this one was going to suck because of Shiraishi, but I decided to be a good sport and try it just the same. Sometimes I can be surprised. It started off promising but man, they dropped the ball on this one. Too much build up for a bad payoff. Disappointing entry for a good series.
