I’ve said it a million times before, and I’ll say it again, it’s all about the execution, not necessarily a new/old story, as some people are complaining about. JAV is basically Kabuki (or even Shakespeare); you don’t need a new story every week, IF you’re good enough. Look, he’s not the worst I’ve seen, but he’s relatively young for a JAV actor, and it shows.
