I flew into China from South Korea one time. I guess we were in the last plane of the evening. I had a broken arm and let everyone leave before me and then struggled to get my baggage off the plane.
I got off the plane. My very first time ever in China. The entire terminal was empty. Not a person in sight. The size of American football stadiums. Easily. And I didn’t see anyone. In China!!!
My very first thought in China was “Wow, there’s nobody around.”
Just sharing. Imagine such a scenario at the empty hot springs if it helps.

When did you fly? If it was at peak of pandemic, of course there would be way less people than you would expect.
